I second this as well. I had a burger the other day with peanut butter and bacon on it. It was pretty cool.

The experiment is on hold until about 6:00. Have a showing to sell the house.

Will update with pics and mixtures.

This. Top with bacon and a spread of grape jelly for a little sweetness.

I had a burger like this at a dive bar in Talahassee and it was delicious.

I have one of those. Stuffed it with some cheese and never used it again. Some things are better the simpler they are.

Gentleman, during this experiment we came across a truth: We are only humans.

So after that fact was discovered, we settled on a two part R&D session. Tonight we stuck to red meats and cheeses. Next, possibly tomorrow, we deal with seafood, just one crawfish appearance.

The burgers chosen:
1. Prosciutto, bacon, crawfish, sharp chedder, pepper jack, feta

2. Prosciutto, cilantro, jalapeño, pepper jack

3. Chedder, bacon, purple onions, mushrooms, sweet peppers

4. Prosciutto, jalepeno, feta, bacon, sweet peppers, basil

5. Pepper jack, tomatoes, cilantro, onions

I fought a little for the peanut butter, but we held off until the next go round.

The equipment held up great. It isn't 1...2...3, but it is easy enough.

Yeah, the veggies were sliced pretty thin. There was some debate on sautéing them, we went with raw.

Bacon was cooked and prosciutto is cured.

In game pic....

Nice try, but those burgers look a tad dry and over done. Seems like a good way to overcomplicate a rather simple thing, the humble hamburger.

Ground chuck, salt and pepper and hot grill is as complicated as it needs to be.

I bet you won't make this again.

You would lose that bet.

3 of the five were overcooked, that is all my fault. Learning curve cooking something I have never tried before.

I won't be exclusively making these when it comes to burgers, but they are well worth doing again.

Oh, come the frick on! I'd try every last one of those with a quickness just to see what it was like. Isn't that the point of the thread? It was admittedly ridiculous and the results (at least I don't think they were) were not anticipated to be groundbreaking.

A little dry looking, sure, I could see that. Could be the lighting. I dunno. I'm not there. But even the OP acknowledged how ridiculous it was and that it was purely for fun.

What would your dream white trash stuffed burger be?

If that's not tongue-in-cheek, I'm not sure what is. If you have a legit critique, go ahead and offer it, but you just basically said, "That sucks, I bet you won't try it again." You're so e-cool
