Been hearing and seeing post about stuffed Jalapenos wrapped in bacon on the pit. Well we have picked a few very large ones from the garden. I plan to split em in half lift the seeds out and stuff them. I got a pack of Rouses cajun sausage meat and a couple packs of shredded cheese.
Q.1 should I pre cook the sausage some?
Q.2 should I mix the cheese with the meat or put it on top?
Q. 3 half a slice of wrights thick should be good to wrap the peppers or a whole slice?

Looking for some experienced answers please. I will just do but hoping for some advice

I've never done them with sausage, but what I usually do is slice them and remove the seeds like you said.

Then spread in some cream cheese. Then top with shredded cheddar and real bacon bits.

If you want to do the sausage I would cook it and mix it with some cream cheese. It'll help cut the heat on the jalapenos.

Definitley cook the sausage first though, maybe even slightly cook the bacon if its thick.

Most people I know don’t precook the meat.

If mix the cheese in for better distribution

If it’s enough it’s enough.

Yes, I would pre-cook the sausage and mix the cheese with the meat and then wrap them in the bacon and I would use a half slice so you don't have a thick layer of bacon that will cook differently. Also use a toothpick to skewer the bacon on the pepper to keep it from falling apart as you turn them.
