Storing Crawfish in the Garage Overnight.

I want to buy a sack of crawfish and separately them into 3 portions. I want to cook them at lunch, dinner, and next day lunch/dinner with different boil recipes. What is the best way to keep them fresh and alive?
My plan is to:
1) Clean and separate the crawfish
2) Cook the first portion and leave the rest in the cooler? or fish basket?
3) Put a towel on them and bag of ice on top of the towel. Open drain hole if using cooler. May be leave them in the garage?
4) Cook portion 2 and repeat?
I always cook the crawfish as soon I get them, so kind of iffy of leaving them overnight in the garage.
What do you guys recommend? Thanks!!

no...leave them in the bag
put the bag in a ice chest with the drain open and shim up the opposite side so it slopes to the drain. put a bag of ice on top of the bag, and close the lid but stick something under the lid to leave an air crack.
when you want crawfish, open the bag, dump only what you need, then put everything back the way it was

I wouldn't want live crawfish juice on the floor of my garage, but that's me.

confined to an area with enough room to fight you'll end up with lots dead. jammed tight and asleep from being cold is best.
