225: Beast Eats app has a $20 for $40 dinner and drinks coupon, if anyone was on the fence about trying this place.

Eta: also one for Beausoleil (25-4-40) on there

I love the one on 30-A, haven't been to the one in BR. I have a friend that dined there, said it was good.

Stinky's @ SRB, I would think, would have a much better vibe, beach and all...

It's not bad. There's just better places with similar food in Baton Rouge. Agreed about the name being pretty terrible.

It's an okay place in a tourist trappy sort of area.

There's nothing about it, however, that screams a need to open an iteration in every town in the Southeast US.

the one in florida, seriously is really good, especially Stinky's Stew.

Appalachicola Oysters are excellent too.

Chains in general make good restaurants suck I think. Maybe that's worth a separate post.

Though the grilled fish isn't great, and they ruin Cobia..the appetizers, oysters from Appalachicola and Stinky's Stew are great.

Ive been to lunch at the one in BR and that's just kind of what you expect. Not as good as the original. Bland hotel atmosphere, cold chowder...I'm done going there.

It's the best place in the immediate vicinity of SRB, but no doubt about your statement. And, their wait staff is certainly on par with much nicer, much more expensive restaurants. Whoever disagrees, has not spent a few hours drinking beer in their Bait Shack waiting for a table.
