Any information on this? Saw the sign up today. Looks to be across from Palermo restaurant and Bocage shopping center.

I don't understand how that location that was previously a bank will be able to handle parking for a restaurant.
So excited about another Wayne Stablier overpriced place

Any money he's making at his other restaurants will be going towards paying for this mistake...if he actually goes ahead with it. He'd be better off selling that property at a loss.

Yeah. Real estate right there can't be cheap. And like others have said, unless you bulldoze the bank, where do you park?

I also wonder, what the hell can he do with the vault that's inside of it? Maybe this is why there is only a sign out front.

It will take years to make that money back, assuming the restaurant is a long-term success. And based on his other restaurants, when it comes down to it, they ain't nothing special. Stab's may be "special" in Central, but in Baton Rouge, who gives a frick? No one will talk about it or give to ficks about it.

Seriously, is anyone excited about another Stab's?

Looking on Google Maps, isn't that the backyard of a house in Jefferson Place/ Bocage? Yeah, I'm sure a parking lot next to/within that neighborhood will get the green light
So much fail

I'm all for new businesses too, but how about something unique? I guess Stabs is better than another chain restaurant. At least it is local. I'm just not thrilled by the ownership, because I have been very unimpressed at the other restaurants in the group.
When I spend $20+ at The Little Village on lobster/shrimp pasta, I expect the serving to be more than 6oz total (3-4 small pieces of lobster) in what looks like the size of a small salad bowl. God I wish I still had a picture of that, it was comical how small the serving was for the price.
