Anyone remember MOPS on Government?

Fondly. Their Ham and Cheese Meat Pie had a wonderful spicy kick to it. In the spot where Rotolo's is now. MOP by-the-way was local attorney Mary Olive Pierson. The story was that MOPS was her family's recipes.

Late 70s or so. It may have lasted into the early 80s. Wasn't she Pat Screen's Vice Mayor, or something like that?

If memory serves, MOPs was a mid to late 70s thing. She put more MEAT in the meat pies that I find in Natchitoches these days. Probably just the times.. But MOPS was the big deal. I blame its demise on disco. Just because.
