Anyone cooks this way and what is your opinion of it? I watched a few YouTube videos and it seems like a different way to cook.

It’s definitely a good way to cook if you want to cook like Janky.

Don’t waste your money. Draw a nice warm bath and let your meat sit in the tub for about 63 hours. Make sure you’re not under a boil water advisory.

Did sous vide scrambled eggs today.

Put them in bath at 11 last night before bed, they were perfect at 7 am

Yes. A lot here use sous vide. I use the method at least 3-4 times a week.

It also triggers a lot of posters here.

How is that possible with only 7 days in a week?

I’m a fan of SV for certain cuts of meat... mostly strips and filets. More fatty cuts like ribeye, I’m not a fan.

Chicken and pork chops are also incredible via SV

This was a choice strip from Costco I cooked last night. So damn good and tender.

With Thanksgiving coming up soon, I started SV a few potatos for my casseroles and I have a turkey I put in last week that should hopefully be done by Halloween.
