is sliced avacado acceptable to the FDB?

I can't speak for all, but

Avocado on anything is acceptable in my estimation. I love it.

My new favorite breakfast is eggs Benedict, except I replace the English muffin with half of an avocado

Absolutely agree.

Chicken salad = mayo, salt and chicken (smoked or rotisserie)

Do not agree. I need my celery and red onion and seasonings and a good grainy dijon.

Doughnuts = glazed

Absolutely agree.

Burgers = mayo and mustard and cheese (sometimes bacon)

I love burgers in any form. Slathered with sloppy junk piled on.. or juicy and only topped with cheese and bacon. Love them all. I agree, though, that sometimes a minimally topped burger that is cooked perfectly is all I need in life.

Tacos = seasoned meat, shredded cheddar and sour cream

I like cotija and lime and cilantro, but I consider that pretty basic too.

What are some foods you like that are basic, when everyone else seems to want to add a ton of ingredients, potentially watering down the original flavors?

Sushi. Give me a good piece of nigiri with a dot of wasabi any day. And fresh REAL wasabi is even better.
Even for rolls, I like a basic salmon rolled in rice and seaweed.
Keep the heavy sauces and fried foods away from me.

Steak. Salt and pepper right before cooking. No marinades or sauces.

Pizza. I am a fan of quality brick oven crust, fresh mozz, basil, and good tomato sauce.
I don't need meats and extra veggies and all that stuff.

Avocado is food from the gods. I am addicted to them.

Also whoever asked about the Valentina hot sauce, I'm a fan.

But I can easily appreciate a taco without all that too. I don't NEED a loaded taco ( )
