Barry was the owner of Crawfish House and Grill in Opelousas. Was some good eating when he was running it, but haven't been there in quite some time.

Try Steamboat in Washington, if open
South of Opelousas in Sunset is Cafe Josephine. Awesome!
Detour East of Sunset and go to Lil Big Cup in Arnaudville. Good luck getting a table
Soileau's is so outdated. Music still playing disco from the 80's and same furniture since 70-80's. I ate there a couple months ago for lunch and it was not that bad

A lot of people have recommended it not just in this thread but people I know down there. My wife saw the pics , it's a cute place, so I guess that's where we're going. Already got a reservation
