RTIC zipper has failed on mine even with live.
Love my polar bears they stay cooler as long or longer as both my Hopper and RTIC.

Used those blue cold packs and it worked great
I make my own ice packs using the insides of Walmart brand diapers and vacuum seal bags. I find 3 size 4 diapers and 1 quart of water makes a good ratio and you can customize the size of your ice packs with the vacuum bags.
I use them in my RTIC 20 and Ozark Trail coolers for my lunch at the hospital. The ice packs stay solid through the end of a 12 shift. I give the edge to the RTIC, but the Ozark Trail was half the price.
