Small pork butt question

Typically get a 8-9 lb butt. Picked up a 4.5 lb butt today. Obviously it’s half size of normal and yes I know cook to temp but on average how much less time should I be looking at. I ask because I want to put it on overnight but I’m sure it doesn’t need 12-13 hours to reach temp and I don’t want to have to get up at 4:00 to take off. What is the boards experience on time with a smaller butt.
TIA

9-10 hours to get to 205. Cooking at about 250.

Probably not much less time if it’s still the same thickness, just halved. I’ve cooked half butts before and they will cook quicker, but not much quicker. Maybe an hour quicker?

I always plan on about 1 & 1/2 hour per pound.

I cooked a 4.5 lb butt last weekend. It took nearly 7 hours at 225 to get to 195 degrees.

I have found that at 225-250 its 75-90 minutes per pound regardless of size. 4.5 pound butt I would bank on 6 hours.

How did this turn out for you?
I fast smoked two 6-7# butts this past week on my Primo XL. (thanks Wickowick for the great buy several years ago and good luck with the pizza shop).
I kept the temp between 275 and 300 and they were ready in 6 hours..approx 1 hour per pound. I've done the fast smoke several times and the usual time is 1 hour/1 pound.
Nice char on the outside and the pork was moist and tender.
