Simple Things Can Be Sooooo..... Good!

Been dealing with a stomach bug for the second time in three weeks and finally getting over it. Before the rain started yesterday I picked up four fresh eggs from the hens. Didn't eat dinner last night but was a little hungry this morning so after making breakfast for the wife I decided to fry myself a couple of eggs. I mean real fried eggs! In oil!
Toasted an English muffin and slathered butter on it and it was like a feast after the last few weeks.
Simple yet delicious!

Only thing better is frying them in the grease left over from the bacon you just cooked.

You're right! I had some bacon drippings right next to me on the counter and just forgot. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

Only thang I'd ahve again dem aigs is ma lips. yea they better in bacon grease also to get that pretty white covering and ya grease aint deep enough to splash put in a splash of water and slam on a lid for a few seconds. Learned that trick from an ole truck stop cook.

Man, that's way too much pepper for my taste. But agreed, eggs and toasted bread are simple yet completely delicious
