Nola was "owned" but most simply, administered, and there wasn’t much in the way of Spanish immigration.

Those that did immigrate came from mostly other colonial holdings like the Islenos from Canary Islands. And there on the Canary Islands, they lost their spanish cuisine and have more of a Caribbean cuisine.

Other immigrants were Cubans and brought their food.

That being said, as anglos began to dominate Louisiana after the Purchase, the Islenos and others stopped cooking their food as they assimilated. Whereas the Francophones had a much larger population and didn’t assimilate as quickly (although they eventually did)

No need to share that I like just walking in and eating. Some of the best meals I have ever had.
Creole is great, but their desserts are pretty awesome as well.

I was a regular at happy hour there. How is their vaccine policy? I am simply boycotting any place that takes this overt executive branch overreach seriously.

They ask, but they don't verify.

Perfect. I will be there soon with a client.

I know several high end places taking that approach.

My businesses aren't directly effected yet, but shecis about to expand the mandate.

She can't string two coherent sentences together when I speak with her, and she can mandate a $10 an hour hostess to know my personal health record and deny me entrance to a private business?

[quote]I still believe that BBQ shrimp is just a mis-translated derivation of gambas al ajillo.

As someone now living in Seville, I'll vouch for that. The bread ("pan") here also goes perfect with it.

We may need to talk. My wife and I have been looking at Spain, Portugal, and Croatia.

The direction this country is heading in is horrific.

We have had multiple trips to Spain and love it. Basque country and Barcelona the most, but Seville is not far behind.

Care to directly address my critique of the mandate with some other than misdirection and a shitty gif?

You really want to have a civil and rational conversation about this? Then treat me like a person instead of being a dilettante buffoon.
