That looks disgusting. Just my opinion, but I'll never get why you would want to eat cold uncooked ground beef.

Still gonna have texture I don't want in my burger. Like I said just my opinion. I don't have to eat your food and you don't have to eat mine.

ETA: and I can imagine shake shack wasn't serving a rare burger cooked like that. :lol;

The French blend tartares. Literally beef foam. Ground beef raw actually has good texture compared to that.

Not that much difference honestly. I'd eat ground round raw with zero hesitation. I'd rather a pounded flat filet in a carpaccio, but eye of ribeye chopped with tartare accoutrements is just as good. Any lean ground I could be happy with, but not much more than 5-6 oz. It just gets a bit gross if it isn't sublime.

I would eat that prepared by someone I trusted. The fast food workforce in Louisiana is under-qualified to serve standard fare as it is.
