I was down at the camp a couple weeks ago and used them instead of fish fry. Money.

Guess I better get some yogurt butter to do my bbq shrimp next time. Sounds awesome.

Nice m8. But I hope you used some yogurt butter and healthy low-fat cheese.

What makes you (or your wife) think "yogurt butter" is a healthier option than real butter?

frick dude, I don't know. My wife wants it and it tastes fine to me so I am ok with it.

One egg with some olive oil in it to get them prepped for the 'breading'.

I've never heard of yogurt butter.

Except you ruined a couple steaks. So you aren't really okay with it? I'm sorry dude, I'm really not trying to be a dick, but there is nothing wrong with real butter. It tastes better, cooks better and does everything better. I might keep that spread stuff in the fridge for English Muffins so I get the label appeal, but at the end of the day you learned that yogurt butter is not a reasonable cooking medium.

I'm with LEarl here in wondering what the world is coming to that we are placing butter on steaks. Probably the same people ordering steaks at sammys.
Are you kidding? This is done all over the place. On one of the recent Franklin BBQ shows, the dude must have used half a stick on one steak.

The few times a "best steak" thread comes up I always rank Ruth's Chris #1 in BR. Obvy in jest.

Yep. I use butter damn near every time I cook a steak.
