Love the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. My other regular ol' go to is Laphroaig 10.

Hard to beat and it is usually the cheapest of the Lasanta nectar and Quinta.

Had this scotch twice about 4-5 years ago, very good. At the time it was the 05 and 02 - they marked their bottles by the year they were bottled. Now they do age statements. Sadly it has disappeared from the states and very hard to find.

I have had this three times in my life and I swear it tastes different every time. One time it seemed super hot. The last time it was sweeter, better mouth feel and not so hot.

Not sure about $35 but I like for Irish John Powers Blend and for Scotch the Gelnmorangie 10 which I find better than the initial offerings of Glenfiddich and Glenlivet.

A little too harsh for me. I do like Lagavulin 16 and Caol Ila at times for smoke. Highland park 12.

Ardbeg 10 is a little strong too.

I know people are from different places, but what is your go to store to find the best selections of scotch and Irish?

I live in the EBR region. No place is really great but Calandros on Perkins seems to be the best, followed by Martin.

Calvins is surprising at times in a good way. Other super markets seem to add 1015% on the price and only have the bar brands like Glenlivet and Jameson.
