Hit up your local shop with a solid whiskey selection and get a bottle of Pikesville Rye. Best bang for your buck in Rye that I've seen in years.

Bulleit used to be a mainstay in the bar. Then Knob Creek. Now I keep Four Roses on hand all the time.

Willet Rye is probably me favorite. I typically drink with an ice cube or splash of cold water. It's cask strength so some dilution is necessary.

Haven't been able to get into much of it. However, Pikesville was the best I've had among the stuff I've had in the past year or so.

I agree with Pikesville and want to add it's little brother, Rittenhouse Rye to the conversation. It is cheap and comes in a terribly ugly bottle, but it works great in cocktails. Sip Pikesville, mix Rittenhouse.
