Mike Anderson's has gotten better but Louisiana Lagniappe is the best imo. Other options would be Parrains or take a little drive to Roberto's River Road. Not entirely cajun but def southern comfort food would be Elsie' Plate and Pie. Thats my go tto lunch spot for red beans and rice, fried seafood etc....
