I rarely went, but when I did, I found they had the best Asian glazed chicken wings, and their steak bites used to be pretty good as well.

I had only been there about three times and all three meals were excellent.

Shocked they made it as long as they did. It’s been a rumor for about 2 years that they were going to close.

Having been to both the BR and Vidalia locations, BR outpaced Vidalia by lightyears. The food was good. If this is how they want to do business, they can kick rocks. This reminds me of when BRQ shut down their Denham location abruptly, promised jobs for the people that were going to have to look for jobs, then ended up giving maybe one or two people a job at the Jefferson location.

How do you think a restaurant should close? Give the employees 2 weeks advanced notice so they can all jump ship and find new jobs leaving the restaurant inoperable for 2 weeks?

True, both are pretty shitty things to do. If the owners sold the real estate they knew FOR SURE they were closing for at least 90 days, but you’re right, the staff wouldn’t do the right thing either

And the ones that stay rob you blind over those two weeks.

Sounds good and fair to me. frick you if you think otherwise. Two weeks of "inoperability" should not matter to the owner.

Lol! We aren’t talking about engineers here, we are talking restaurant staff. They can get a job at any other restaurant in town the next day. It sucks, but that’s the field of work they chose. Welcome to the real world. frick you if you’re too stupid to understand.

I liked the lunches, so I went one evening to check it out for a group dinner of 20. Very different demographic, a big change in noise level and unsupervised children running around. No way.

The times that I went were mostly during lunchtime, and I sat in the bar area, although I can remember a time or two going with my parents, but that was right at 5 p.m.
