Went last week and it was great. I’m impressed. Everything these guys make is awesome. Food and drinks were great. Cool style in the decor. Good atmosphere. Service was great

a lot of folks coming by checking on you and asking how everything is. It got annoying after a while

Not so much anymore. Besides the server, one manager came by one time after we were nearly done with our food.

Crab cake appetizer was all crab and very tasty.

Must have changed it since they opened. Took my mom last week and the crab cake had way too much breading.

Overall, I would say they are WAYYY expensive for what they are. Food was not bad but nothing special and absolutely no reason to be as expensive as it is.

$38 12z Ribey, pricey?

what is Ruth Chris? Just curious.

They are $50 up in Vegas now.

We love Ruth's. Rouj didn't seem to have prime grade steaks (or else they'd have advertised it), so they seemed a bit high priced with that in mind.

The place was great, though. I don't order steaks from non steakhouses anyway, so no biggie.

FWIW, I tried Rouj for the first time this past Wednesday...

First off, I like the location but for us the service was slow and the server wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu. However, she was nice though.

Second, I wish we would have sat at the bar area because it is more inviting and they were playing some good music over the loudspeaker.

As for the food we started with the mussels and fries. Tip: ask for bread to dip into the sauce if you get this appetizer. Really good sauce.

For entrée, I had the duck with butterbeans. It did taste better than it sounds. Duck was really good and the butterbeans had a lot of flavor. The beans tasted more like really good red beans.

Overall it was ok, I might go back.

Ruth's is 16oz

So there's would be a little over $50 for the same sized steak. That's a lot
