I have decided that I am going to cook my way through Vernon Roger's Cajun cookbook. I have cooked a few out of here before but wanted to ask the FDB, where would you start?

TONNAIRE, MAIS CAS C'EST BONNE, OUI!!!

He would say this when he tasted what he had cooked. Good memories.

His freakshow behaviors ruined any good thoughts for me about him

He showcased his crawfish burger one afternoon on his cooking segment, and it looked awesome.

Purely by chance, I sat next to him at the bar in Louie's one day for lunch......and we talked about tomatoes

He was wearing blue jeans with a crease down the front of each leg and wearing cowboy boots......Cajun style.......but was driving a little red Miata. Go figure

I appreciated that lunch, Vernon.

I just did a search to possibly order this cookbook. Some of these are listed at over $100. Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but anyone have any explanation?! Seems like an interesting topic.

At the beginning. Work your way through it and put post-it notes on the ones you will do again. Enjoy. Cheers Ross
