Rocket pot

I've been searching around for a rocket pot (just the pot, not the pot/burner combo) for a while. I was disappointed that when I was finally ready to buy one, they didn't make them anymore. Well, by chance, someone told me that Nino's gas station on 415 in Port Allen still had a few and looked like they were trying to get rid of them. Just picked up the only 100qt they had, talked them down a pretty good bit from what they used to retail for. FYI, it looked like they had 2 120qt's left. You will have to ask about them, they are not on display.

Those pegs are going to break off and that pot will never sit right on your burner again.

Just be careful. I've seen pots with many missing, but it could have just been his setup or how they treated it.

Cut down your boil time? You either have no friends or you have no beer. You should fix one of those two immediately.

Plenty of both, either of which is totally accessible both while my burner is lit and when it isn't. I don't see anything wrong with wanting to boil more efficiently.
I don't understand why it's become a thing on this board to suggest that drinking and conversation can only take place while the burner is on.
