also .. people very well may be buying their pizzas, but they're also buying beer and sodas and caesar salads - other high profit margin items that brick and mortar restaurants use to make money they may not make on pizza-by-volume sales ... the model of Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc.
This is true.
This conversation is too complex to make blanket statements across the board, and I'm not sure what is going on in here

By the time all of those toppings were added to a Domino's pizza, it would be damn close to that price. Is Domino's large even 16"?
And I'm pretty positive with all of those toppings, Pizza Delicious would be more.
And as I said earlier, MM pizzas are very filling.
I split a salad and a medium pizza with a man and we had a slice to take home. Not bad for $25 (pre tax and tip).

This is the most expensive one.

Bayou Bleu
Spicy bleu cheese base topped with all natural grilled shrimp and Andouille sausage covered in mozzarella cheese and garnished with chives
It's 26.99 for a 16"
Who has more expensive pizza? You said one exists, name one?

If you're going to use Meat Lovers as an example, then compare it to something close at MM.
Mighty Meaty
Red sauce base with mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, ham and applewood smoked bacon $23.99

I think MM's large is the equivalent to the size of Slice large.
a large meat lovers @ Slice is $21.75
a large pizza @ MM with potatoes, bacon, cheese and ranch dressing is $24.99
Too bad at Mellow their might meaty large is $19.95
ETA: Apparently the Nola Mellows are slightly more expensive.

Do you think that a "high end" pizza place that sells a pizza for the same price point as MM has that much costlier ingredients?
Not more costly enough to warrant the subsequent increase in cost of the pizza to the consumer.
Unless you aren't a chain...

I corrected way before your post, thanks though. And what else has been a fail? Please tell me. Or is this the part where you act like you've been right all along?

Best part is he will never just sack up and say he was wrong. He is the reason these kinds of threads go for 13 pages.

About what? You can't even form a simple, coherent statement about what you're even talking about.

You're always welcome to go find a babe thread on the OT or something else.
I, personally, thought it was an interesting discussion up to a certain point. Even the poster who started the thread enjoyed it. Not sure who you think you're going to bat for.
