I have read so many old, great, gone places that I am now beyond depressed. There is really no good place to eat anymore.

Piccadilly.....the way it used to be, when they consistently served good food
I use to hate going to this place because a place filled with old people use to freak me out.

Rizzo's on Bourbon St - great baked Alaska
Visko's in Gretna - they separate rooms for parties with kids and those that were adult only. The adult area had carpet - the kid area had vinyl - and the fried crab claws were incredible.

I miss when the food used to taste real good at Piccadilly all the time. Not every now and then.

MOPS MEAT PIES weren't all that good in the quality of meat pies that I tasted in NE Louisiana. Does anyone on this board actually know what MOPS stood for? BTW, that person is still a practicing attorney.
