Restaurant Week - July 20-25, menus are out

$15 Barcadia looks like a good deal(kind of a reach). I tend to avoid these restaurant week deals because its not really a deal for many places, especially considering I dont eat dessert.
The sushi places I would definitely pass and Carrabas at $30 is laughable. City Pork and Londoner at $25, pass. The steak places usually serve smaller portions.
Just seems like a ploy by the participants to get you out of the house and eating at their places. None seem like really great deals.

Yeah, my memory is cloudy but I seem to remember some much better deals in years past

What is the Camelot Club like? That seems interesting.

Yeah I dont really do dessert. Wish they would include something else instead. Maybe a cocktail or soup/salad plus app and entree.
Id still hit up these for sure

i agree. an app or salad over a dessert would make plenty of the places more appealing.
after looking at almost all of the places, i couldnt find one that didnt have dessert as the 3rd option.

Eh, I dunno. I'd for sure try out the Chelsea's one. I love that place and normally a tab there is about 40, obviously with a beer or two. I'd go there and spend it anyways, so if they are really gonna bring it for a meal that seems nice.
Marcello's (never been) and City Pork also strike me as potential values/solid experiences.
But for the most part it's underwhelming.

It's just marketing. The list gives off the illusion of a special deal and most people who are looking to try someplace new or get out will bite.

Geez. Chelsea's one is usually a good deal, but grilled chicken breast? Vegetable pasta?
I can get what I actually want at Chelsea's and be completely full for less than $20.
City Pork doesn't seem like a bad deal.

I am disappointed Little Village isn't on there. It is usually a great deal and the food is always exceptional.
Chelsea's is cheap as hell on a normal week. I know you get the app and dessert but it isn't really much of a deal, you can go there any day of the week and get a good meal for a good price.
Cheesecake Bistro is actually a very good price. The cheesecake alone is like $7 and that comes with the $20 price which gets you the starter and main course. I could get the soup, crawfish ravioli and cheesecake and my bill would be close to $40.
