Wife and I are in Orlando with her family and we’re looking for white table cloth restaurant recommendations for the two of us. I’m also putting this on the OT board. I appreciate any suggestions.

Just hit up the dozen Perkins and Golden Corral buffets on I Drive and you'll be fine.

But seriously white tablecloth and Orlando don't meet each other in my book. There are certainly places I love there but they aren't white tablecloth. The most white tablecloth place I can think of is Victoria and Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridan resort. The resort is great around the holidays but I'm not sure what it is like this year.

Columbia in Celebration is a unique choice but again not fine dining. It is Columbian food served in a very nice setting. Their Cuban sandwich and signature salad made tableside are great.

I wondered why there was no white tablecloth place in a town as large as Orlando and with the money that must be there. At least you helped him.

I was there last summer and went with a friend of mine to this place near Disney world, looked like a giant tourist trap but when we finally got past the million kids ithere was a resturant that looked like a boat. Very skeptical but the oysters were top notch great, had whole lobster and a filet and were very good. We ate outside and it was quiet.Trying to rember the name, Boat House I'm pretty sure.

Thank you! Ended up going here and it was fantastic. They sold me the best glass of wine I’ve ever had. The food was phenomenal.
