Restaurant and fast food location closures.

Anyone else noticing a crap load of restaurants and fast food locations permanently closing in their area?
In the last couple months alone, we’ve had four restaurants that have been here for over a decade close for good, as well as a few Wendy’s, Taco Bells, and Applebees locations.
My guess is the cost of eating out and food in general has skyrocketed over the last couple years, so more people are cooking at home, but holy cow, Ive never seen so many food places close in such a short time. They are dropping like flies.

Chick Fil A's don't close unless they are tearing an older one down to build a bigger one on the same site.

The only closures around me are the mom and pop strip mall restaurants. All the corporate stuff keeps growing and more being built and opening. Loganville GA

Shreveport-Bossier here. We have lost several places, but several other restaurants have popped up. I would say we’re about breaking even over the past year.

Hopefully people will catch on and realize they are in the poison business
