Per social media, they are pivoting to a “private venue”

I guess the out of control violent crime in that area was too much to overcome?

I’ve gone a couple of times and never had a problem. The place isn’t a popular enough draw to actually get people. The issue is that it’s basically in no man’s land between downtown and the stuff of Government.

The place is massive and in a shite area of town.

Only been twice and awhile ago but the service was garbage. It felt like a place where you went to learn the service industry then move to a normal bar or restaurant

Place was always busy every time I went, before Allie Rice was killed right next to there. I’m sure that murder did it in

All of the other businesses in that complex seem to be doing fine. I think Red Stick Social could never really figure out what it wanted to be.

They're not bad. Red Stick Social is not KOK though. They're just neighboring businesses.

Not surprised this happened though.

More like it was expensive for drinks, had to pay a cover for the concerts they had there then pay for expensive drinks, and lastly the service was fricking awful.

Their bartenders were so bad that they had 25-35 year olds sounding like Boomers with the complaint.

Yeah, they hired a bunch of people that had never worked service industry before.. which, hey I get staffing is hard. But man, they needed better training or something.

A "bartender" not knowing what a mimosa is.. a bit much.

We went and tried to make it work but the service was too bad to overcome. You haven't taken our drink order and there are 4 people behind the bar talking. That did not work at all for our group. We wanted to order food also and were seated at a table. The people behind the bar kept looking at us and talking but never came to the table after the hostess sat us.

It was a good place when it first opened around 2017-2019. It held strong with Covid when it moved live bands outdoors to beat the restrictions but that was the last hoorah for it sadly.
