Red Snapper on the half shell. W/Pics. Updated W/recipe.

Had the wife pick up some red snapper. Made some sweet potato wedges. I made what I call a blonde Étouffée, wifes recipe, to put on top the fish after grilling. Turned out great.







Even the dog agreed it was delicious. That was after letting her taste the sauce....

Is red snapper tough to come by in LA right now? It’s pretty easy to find where I am, but of course it’s a little pricey

haha. No. I could go catch hundreds and not make a dent in the population, but I'm only allowed to catch 2. per trip

I think I'd eat that etuouffee over anything. I have never tried snapper that way but turned red fish on the shell that way and many oter ways too It's da poor mans snapper.
