Every Memorial Day I look forward to the crazy beef sales to stock up on. None this year. I understand that it's because of the crisis we're in, but it's odd to see absolutely no beef on sale in the flyers this year, for the first time that I can remember. Plenty of meat on the shelves though thank goodness. Times are a changin.

I haven't been getting them in the mail from many places period. I usually get them from 5 or 6 stores each week, but have only been getting 1 or 2 a week recently. I hadn't noticed red meat wasn't in them and looked and only saw some steaks in the Winn Dixie one. The shelves still seem to have plenty, although some things aren't as readily available (e.g. I've been to several places that didn't have lean ground beef).

Late 90s during my college days. We made sure to buy good beer, but cheap meat. Briskets were cooked almost once a week.

Kroger had $6.99 sirloin steaks in their weekly.

Went to three different stores over the week and none of them ever had the meat.

Tbones on sale tomorrow, we'll see if they have any.

I got whole beef tenderloins from Winn Dixie last week for $6.99 a pound and a few Briskets from Albertsons a few weeks ago for $1.67 a pound.

prime briskets were $2.99 a pound at Costco until about a week ago. So annoying. Now they're $6+
