I have the Bull (700) and I love it. I highly recommend Recteq. I haven't owned other pellet smokers, so have no experience cooking on other grills, but I have looked at display models of Traeger and I can tell the build quality of the Recteq is vastly superior to the floor model Traegers that I've seen.

Excellent customer service. We moved with our Recteq and the sensor panel crapped out. Called them- they overnighted a replacement along with a free bottom shelf to sturdy the legs. Their rubs and sauces are A+ too.

Do they sell these locally anywhere or just online? Trying to compare a Yoder 640s to a recteq 1070

You would need to order it from their website. Their warehouse/showrooms are in GA and UT.

I have the Yoder. Love it.
Get the competition cart if you go this route. Much easier to move with the larger tires. It's heavy af.

quote:I was going to buy a pitts or a Yoder. Couldn’t get either during Covid stuff and got a 590.
I’m going to spend 1200+ on a pellet grill, I’m going Pitts & Spitts.
Everyone I know has had trouble w their pitts. Yoder’s are bulletproof.
My recteq has been flawless.

I’ve had my RT700 for a few years now and it’s amazing. Can’t recommend it enough. Built like a tank, super easy to clean and maintain, and I have done everything from 20+ hour brisket smokes at 200 to high temp burgers seared on the sear kit and everything comes out great. It holds temps extremely well, has two built in probe spots, a wifi app where you can monitor and adjust it from anywhere, multiple configurations with extra internal shelves and grate options, etc.

I have the 1250 and it's absolutely the best grill I've had. Cannot recommend it enough.

I just want to see the 1070 in person!
