Tried the fish Katie and steaks before. Looking at trying something different. Possibly the cedar salmon. Recommendations?

I was unaware they had cedar salmon now. I am a huge fan of the Cedar-plank redfish and the garlic roasted potatoes.

I also like the pizzas.

I never was a fan of the specials (which they try way to hard to push on you).

My parents ate there last night. Dad had the redfish on a plank, and mom had the trout.

They said both were excellent.

Never been there myself.

If you go on Thursday Peter makes a phenomenal veal shank osso bucco. Only on Thursday and maybe some left Friday lunch if you ask.

I like the flat noodles with marinara. Really light.

Friday lunch fried chicken is up there with any others in town.

45 day ribeye is good but I don't get it often.

Lobster Mac and cheese.

He does a roasted chicken from time to time that is really top notch.

He's a big sous vide chef.

Forgot about that. The osso bucco is pretty darn good.

Since when did they start doing lunch on any other day but Sunday? I worked there YEARS ago, and I hadn't realized they started doing lunch (haven't lived in BR since then).

About a year or so ago they opened Friday lunch. Not long after Galitores closed.

And they pack em in. Killer fried chicken.

Visited last night, is it just me or is it getting harder to order $13 apps that have "Lump Crabmeat" listed and when it is on the table you say "What Crabmeat?"

We try to make it there every time we come to town and I always go with the pork chops and have never been disappointed.

Ryan told me they had to take it off the menu because of the rise in their beef cost....if they kept it, they would have to charge around $65 for it.......so they just removed it until the price gets back in line.....

Was in March sometime. Last time I was able to get it was after the LSU Recruiting Bash in early Feb.

Yea, it was already really pricey. The only reason I ordered it was because I high off just collecting the cash from my fantasy football winnings. But it was damn good.

Yea, I either ordered it early March or late February. Oh well. It was probably going to be awhile before I ordered it again.

its pretty casual, especially during the week.

slacks are always appropriate in this town.

i like their seafood arencini app, wife likes their fish katie.....if the 45 day ribeye was still on the menu - would tell u to grab it. their house cab is jlohr, so you cant go wrong with the house wine. if the prime veal tchop is the special, its good. if the osso bucco is on, get it.

enjoy. i really like ruffinos
