Recommend a mandoline slicer/dicer

Go to Vinh Phat and buy a cheap one for $20. When it dulls, throw it away and buy another. I've had mine for 5 years and with intermittent use it's still plenty sharp enough.

Get a Benriner Japanese Mandoline. Just google it... Get the larger one as there are two sizes I believe.

Cheaper than the French Style Mandolines.

I don't have a recommendation on mandolines, but I can recommend this if you are at all in favor of taking your fingertips to the grave.

I got one from Wally World for $8. Given I haven't had it long but it gets the job done and for that little I won't think twice about tossing it for a new one.

Something that has a very reliable hand protector so your finger doesn't test the sharpness of the blade....like mine did.
