Define restaurant because there isn’t much in Assumption Parish.

Grapevine in Donaldsonville is legit though. The Chance in Donaldsonville is another good sit down place, and Chefs has great fried chicken.

Landry’s in Pierre Part was solid for seafood if it’s still open. El Cajun La Mex is good and sometimes has music on the weekends. There’s a newish place off of Hwy 1 in Napoleonville that has a menu that looks good but haven’t been.

Gator Corner, Stazione’s, and Dairy Inn are good quick service places.

Landry’s for seafood. Not fancy though, think hole in the wall place. Their turtle sauce piquant is good

Atchafalaya Cafe in Morgan city is another hole i the wall seafood place with live music on Friday nights

Tampicos for Mexican in Morgan city

Atchafalaya Golf Club house in Patterson for the nicest atmosphere if that’s what you are looking for. This will be about 30 minutes drive from Pierre Part store

Cafe Jojo in downtown Morgan City is on the nicer side. Make sure to ask for the wine bottle list because their by the glass list is horrible.

Atchafalaya Cafe has some nice fried food.

Tampico’s is good for Mexican.

I love the small salad bar at Landry’s.

Shockingly if there on a Thursday night the special at the hangout is good.

Pizzano’s has some really great lunch specials during the week.

If youre willing to go as far as Mr Lester’s then I’ll add Yellow Bowl and The Forest in the mix.

Is the Harbor Still open in Morgan City?

Grapevine is certainly legit and everyone should eat at The Chance at least once in their life, just for the experience of meeting the owner/cook.

Tidbit....the owner of The Chance is a brother to Chris Gulliot, the dude that bullhorn hollers at LSU baseball games.

No one should ever look in that kitchen though, but that hamburger steak with red gravy is phenomenal.

Great call on Castalano’s.

As far as the sushi joint. The one time I went the bathroom was HORRIBLE. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. My wife confirmed the women’s was in the same shape. I have never gone back.

The Galley makes a nice breakfast spot.
