Reccomend a cookware set

Time to ditch and upgrade my pots and pans. My magnalites are really showing their age, and the rest of the pieces I have are lower end and mismatched.
I'd don't mind spending a little money here, but don't want to get into the absurd. I'm interested in heavy duty vs. show piece because we honestly don't entertain that much. I have a large stainless stock pot and a good black iron Dutch oven. More looking for a good quality daily use set for cooking dinner during the week.
I don't think I want a full set of Le Crueset... too much weight and I'm a little too rough on my stuff. No chance a metal spoon doesn't end up in it at one point. I have a knock off sauce pot and the enamel is starting to crack in less than 2 years.
I'd also like whatever I get to have a matching omelet pan.

The Calphalon set we got for our wedding has been doing just fine. It's certainly not the best, but for the money I like it.

That's definitely a consideration. I'm finding picking cookware is up there with buying a mattress with regards to number of options and finding a consensus of what's really good in the reviews.

Fwiw I use metal spoons in all my enameled ware and always have. No problems.
Also I have a large LaCreuset Dutch oven that popped a bit of enamel when I put the fire on High under it and went off to do something else for about a half hour. The oven was over 10 years old and I sent pictures and filled out a warranty card, talked to them on the phone and a week later got a new oven. They didn't even want the old one back so it's a farm oven now.

I did the exact same thing recently. My "collection" was piecemealed over the years, with a couple of decent pots, but I wanted a quality matching set for a decent price.
Used a 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond Coupon and got this Analon set. They were also doing a promotion where I got 3 matching skillets as well with the purchase of this set. I love it, it isn't anything fancy but its a step up from Calphalon.

Invest in some good vintage black cast iron pots in various sizes. You'll have a good time picking them out, and if you restore them yourself, you'll get a lot of satisfaction out of it, and they'll last forever. You can't beat a good black cast iron pot or skillet.

Enjoying my Analon Advanced Umber set. Got it as a wedding gift, but can be had at Bed Bath and Beyond for $300 or less. 12 piece set.
