I was there over the Labor Day weekend. Get the cast iron pork from Tupelo Honey.

Highly recommend 55 South over Pucketts. 55 South is right on Main St. if you have to wait for a table, there’s plenty to do and see while waiting.

are you in the square or just in franklin in general?

you can't beat jalisco just north of the square for authentic tacos. dont let the unassuming sign fool you.

tino and alma are salt of the earth; she makes the tortillas and green sauce from scratch; they will literally melt in your mouth and the suadero is to die for. they have a little salsa bar in the back with all the homemade salsas and onions, cilantro, limes, etc. to decorate your tacos.

GET THE CREAMY GREEN SAUCE

the best tacos are:
- suadero
- asada
- al pastor
- chicken
- costilla
- chorizo
- birria

but don't sleep on the others like lengua. they have about 20 different tacos!

dont advise the torta unless you plan to share it with about 8 other people stheyre MASSIVE.

4 or 5 mexican beers on tap and another 5 or 6 in bottles and they just got their liquor license so they've added margs now.

Culaccino is an awesome Italian restaurant downtown Franklin. Little pricey but worth it. Reasonable enough for lunch.

My neighbors love Americana Taphouse.

My family lives at 55 South. Place is awesome.

Sunset Sushi and Thai.
