Absolutely ridiculous statement, brah. If you don't like it fine, but there's no way that burger sucks.

What type of burger meat do you prefer? Thick or thin? I prefer a thin patty. That being said, I enjoyed the burger I had at the Camelia Grill in the quarter a few weeks ago.

How did you prepare the gruyere cheese to top a burger?

Thin slices (on a regular deli slicer it was halfway between dial 2 and 3).

When I worked Northshore I would grab a Lee's burger for my trip home. Triple Nickel Grill has my vote best burgers in that area though.

Nice. Never thought to do that. Bistro Byronz in BR has a turkey burger with gruyere, but I believe it has been melted down.

Philay's in Gonzales also does a stuffed turkey burger with gruyere, but I haven't tried that one. I can't recall a ground beef burger in BR that is served with it, and I'd imagine it's probably is due to the high cost per serving.

Beachcomber is a great burger, IMO.

No one enjoys Phil's Grill? I like the 50/50 with hot sausage, or the alligator.

New Flamin' Burgers on Airline at Labarre. Fresh patties, and according to their advertising, they make fresh buns. The fries are fresh cut, I know that; quite good.
