So, deluxe and premium mixed nuts became a thing and some even advertised fewer or no peanuts. Fantastic product. Well, that didn't last. Now, the ones we get from Sam's seem to be 60% or more almonds. I don't hate almonds, but they are definitely my least favorite in the mix. Now, let me go find a cloud to scream at.

Almonds are one of the healthiest nuts. I love almonds.

Somebody gave us one of those big jugs of mixed nuts from Sams Club. We aren't members there, just Costco.

But I will say that jug of premium mixed nuts from Sams was amazingly good and high quality.

I've noticed less volume of peanuts in almost any mixed nut products the wife gets. She will buy them from either Sam's or Costco.

I get my peanut fix by buying raw peanuts from Rouses and boiling them in seafood boil till done to my liking and they are a hit around the house and with friends.

I've learned to make my own with whatever ummfeeling at the moment. I have an airlock container of almonds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, walnuts, papitas and cashews. I take a little bit of each one for my snack or maybe just a lot just one.

Fun story - I used to eat a handful of almonds a day, until I started with some abdominal pain. Ended up in the ER and that's how I found out almonds are high in soluble oxalates and can cause kidney stones.
