La. Lady, all of that is second hand stuff ... only one of those folks CLAIMED to work there .. one of them "had a student" that worked there. I'm not some second hand hearsay you're finding on the web, i really did work there.

Yes, the chicken salad IS made from leftover chicken (just like wendy's chili is made from leftover burgers) and yes, there IS powdered sugar in the flour batter mix. The spices and herbs in it are the only secret in the place. There's no marinade at all. I'm tellin ya, the pickle flavor that everybody THINKS is from a pickle juice marinade is from the damn thing sitting in a heat drawer wrapped in foil with 2 slices of dill pickle.

If you dont believe me, just go to a Chick-Fil-A and ASK them. OR you can soak a chicken breast in pickle juice yourself and fry it, and then reallize how rediculous this claim is.

I like both of them. I think I prefer Chick-fil-a, though.

I can't stand pickles and I still like chick-fil-a. I'm sure if it was marinated in pickles I wouldn't like it.

Good info unclebuck.

IDK
Maybe it varies location to location.

I believe that you're telling the truth haha don't worry. But I find it hard to believe so many people are lying all over the internet. You are just as much heresay as they are. I don't know you lol. There is no way to know that you worked there just as much as there is no way for me to know they didn't. You both claim to have worked there, but they're from all over the country so maybe it varies.

Regardless, the original discussion was that Canes and Chick-fil-A definitely taste differently.

La. Lady - Nothing varies from location to location, its just that these dorks all over the internet THINK they know what they're talking about, because they taste a "hint" of dill pickle ( which i explained why its there), and they're soooo sure of themselves that they support their claim by lying and saying they worked there.

Like i said, marinate a chicken breast in pickle juice, fry it, and eat the thing. I promise you it will be so disgusting that you will disregard all of those rediculous claims of Chick-Fil-A using pickle juice as a marinade.

BETTER YET .... the nuggets, tenders, and the original sandwich are the same recipe. Go get some nuggets or tenders and an original sandwich (thats been sitting in a foil bag with pickles on it), and you'll see that the sandwich taste like dill pickle and the nuggets/tenders do not.

If they were marinated in pickle juice, wouldn't the nuggets/tenders taste like pickles too?
