Starting a healthy lifestyle today.
I downloaded MyFitnessPal, and successfully ate a salad from the office cafeteria instead of eating out with co workers.
Cutting sodas and sweets.
Will do my best to cut alcohol (Will prob drink a beer every now and then until current stock is out and then not rebuy)
Will try and eat dinner earlier (6-7pm) and not at 8pm or later
Will become more active
Any tips/tricks are appreciated.

This does not matter.
The myfitnesspal app is a great tool. If you are trying to lose weight I would suggest finding an online calculator that calculates your maintenance calories and start of eating 500 calories below along with a basic weight training program and a few days of cardio per week.

The app has already calculated that.
It asks where you're at/where you'd like to be and has 4 options to calculate calorie count. I picked the pound a week option and today my count is 2,010 calories.
I plan to start walking at night, and eventually workout in the apartment gym.

why doesn't it matter?

What makes you think it does matter? Do you think a person eating the same number of calories and same ratio of macros coming mostly in the evening hours will have different weight loss results than someone eating these calories and macros during the day?

Wouldn't it matter because you burn more calories throughout the day and are typically less active in the late evening hours?

I do not see why it would if all other things were equal.

Weight watchers online.
Eat what you want. You don't have to cut out anything. But you do have to account for it. Want ice cream? Fine. Count the points. Beer? Sure. 5 points.
The reason it works is that you have to eat better and fewer calories, but you can still feed your cravings.

A: Yes. Although your RMR stays pretty consistent, you're more active during the day so you're burning more calories overall. Research actually shows that people who eat the majority of their calories later in the day tend to eat more calories, weigh more and have more body fat. Try making breakfast and lunch your bigger meals.
Off some website...that's about all the research I'll do. In my opinion it seems like if you eat a lot of calories and then go to sleep you body will store it instead of using it like it would if you ate earlier in the day. But then I see your point of if you eat the same amount of calories it shouldn't change too much

Bro you think freaking deer antler spray actually does something. Why should I even try to explain something that is common sense to you?

No, it doesn't matter when you consume your calories whether it's 6am, 6pm, or midnight. Set a daily goal and stick to it, or better yet set a weekly goal and stick to it. That way if you go over a day or two it's no big deal.

Why would it matter if you burn more calories during the day if you are eating the same amount of calories that day?
Please explain. And please tell us about the results you have achieved with deer antler spray.

I never said what I believe one way or another. Just asked you to explain yourself. You are the teacher and i'm trying to learn. Dont be so defensive. I just figured if you say something so definitive you could at least explain the reasoning.
after you tell me about your hemp

Are you really trying to compare a source of protein that is rich in fiber and essential fatty acids to freaking deer antler spray which has been proven to do nothing? Wow.
