thought I would finally post on here. January 2012 decided that I would make a change in my life. Heaviest was 365. could've be heavier, but that was the most I ever saw on a scale. Started low carb and after losing 40#, plateaued and didn't lose any for several months. Knew I needed to make a change to lose more. found that I was eating too much low carb food. My calorie count was too high. Found a website with a calorie counter that could tell me with my weight and size what my calorie intake would be to maintain weight and what I would need to lose weight. So after tweeking my diet a little I am now starting to lose again. Very proud of myself for lasting this long on a diet and keeping the weight off.

Amazing thing is that my 25th reunion is coming up in May. If I can get to 240#, that is a weight that no one in High School ever saw me at. I think that I weighed 240 in junior high.

Great job!

I went to my 25th reunion this past May. People were walking right past me without recognizing me because I was 100 pounds lighter than when I was in High School.

Good luck and keep posting.

Crazy weight fluctuations this weekend. Saturday morning ran 6.5 miles then weighed in at 202. A little tailgating after and woke up Sunday at 210. 48 hours later and things seem to be leveling out.
Question: Does everyone just say shite on it for Thanksgiving and eat any and everything or do some try to eat moderately?

I went with somewhat moderation year 1. Last year, I think I ate what I wanted and brought home leftovers.

This year, I am way way way above my low, so I will probably go back to moderation.

I was hoping to be good until T-Giving but I found out the office T-Giving party is this Wednesday.

I had full intentions of doing it in moderation last year. I was gonna eat meats and mom's layered salad. I got in line and lost all willpower. I have a feeling this year will be the same.

I'm going to try to moderate my intake. Hard to do when your entire family is pushing you to eat more.

good trough day helped flush the system.
I need a few more good days to get ready because I have no control from Thanksgiving through that Sunday. Leftovers always seem better and then comes Gumbo for days.

10 good days in a row, but stuck on a gain plateau.

The good day streak ends today because it is Free Lunch Wednesday which happens to also be our office T-Giving Party.

Nom nom nom nom!
