Haven't posted in awhile...

280.8/226.8/185

Weight loss was flat basically the whole month of May (2 Vegas trips and a wedding). Recent events have caused the last 2 weeks to be in full diet mode again.

No weigh in while on vacation, so far have been able to control eating and drinking, but then again we aren't in napa yet.

Ran 3.5 miles today, across the golden gate bridge and back. It was awesome!!

well now you've ruined the purity of the experiment since i know you're betting.

i ate a couple of cookies i baked for the kids yesterday..so i can feel the creaking and groaning as the last of my willpower starts to splinter.

what am i doing up at 230 am? fell asleep after eating 2 steaks tonight and now i have a house full of dirty dishes i need to wash. i'd rather tool around the island instead with the dog.

Why is everyone on vacation?!?! My last vacation was months ago and it was cold and miserable on the beach and I was sick the whole time.

Well I'm not sure what happened but I dropped nearly four pounds in one day. Maybe self loathing burns calories?

Ran the 2 mile race yesterday put on by CSR. Goal time was 17:30, which based on my latest times was a good goal. With the rain starting after the first mile and feeling good I finished the run in 16:05. I was pumped about that and very surprised. If I keep it up I may be able to acheive my high school times in 5k's by late fall. The goal is to be sub 20 minutes in the 5k.

Your over 40lbs lighter than when you started, thats great. Think how hard it would be running, carrying around 2 20lb dumbells

225/185/175

Weagle I'm 4 lbs lighter since Mon, finally flushed the weekend away. Thats why I don't need to repeat that cycle this weekend. Am I on a Yo Yo diet? I'm closing in and need to get this last 10lbs off.

It would be a very unpleasant experience.

Only 10 more to go, keep up the good work!

As I am getting near my goal weight, I remember saying I would post a before and after picture. I am a man of my word and I will do it. Two things I need to do first. Find a picture of 255 lbs me in all that glory. Second is I guess I really need to learn how to post pics. I am guessing either the help board or fark board will be able to provide the answer.

First of all CM, freaking congrats on that race time!! Oh and you'll be happy to know that I signed up for two 5ks this fall and I found a running store in Auburn that puts on a bunch of other 5ks and runs.

As far as the pictures are concerned, I think you can upload them to photobucket and then when you go to post click the img button and put the link to the picture in the box that pops up.

I looked up some old photos from this past football season and found the before. ~ 7 lbs to go and I'll have the after. Expected time frame is 4-5 weeks.

Thanks for the congrats. Glad to hear you signed up for races. It will help motivate you in you training. I had a marathon marked on my calendar, then found out the day before is my sisters wedding in Lafayette and the race is in NOLA. I'll have to find another one somewhere around early March.

You can do it! I'm going to do my best. I'm going to Atlanta tomorrow to see Prometheus in Imax and there are just too many good places to eat up there.

Hey enjoy yourself, weekend cheats aren't that bad but you know the scale may not look good on mon. Going out of town, especially a place like Atl, you have to treat yourself.
