Oh yeah I went for my run yesterday. Went nearly three miles but my foot was in pain. I did a flatter trail with less roots and such to have to step around. I think I'm going to be stuck on week three of couch to 5k for another week. It's not even my foot that's holding me back, it's just the running itself and the heat. Yay for Alabama summers...

My foot actually felt a little better after the run though, not sure how that happened. We'll see how things feel Friday.

@Cad - That gives me an idea for a procedural where crimes are solved purely with the internet prowess of TD users.

you might..MIGHT (promise not to get on a soapbox here) consider adding cycling to your workouts given your foot issues. that will make you stronger without putting stress on your foot or knees.

Ideal Protein diet

Here's the big secret of the IPD:
whisperIt's a keto diet. It induces ketosis just like atkins or south beach or any low-carb ketogenic diet.

That's it. They have you eating protein and drinking protein shakes. The rest is a bunch of bullshite gimmick.

I've been thinking about it. Much of what i've read suggests cycling to cross train with.

Nice to see that OP is still kickin. I know several people who have had great success with Ideal Protein. One, they could afford it and two, lots of professional help.

Looks like Saturday morning is going to be great weather for a run around the lakes. 63 in the morning. Won't see that again until fall.

Up a little bit. I have my doctor's appointment today. I'm actually excited because he really got on me about my weight last time so me being thirty pounds lighter ought to shut him up a little. I'm also hoping that my blood pressure has lowered some, it was a little high last time.

tunnel drama?

fyi i'm taking the kids on vacation this week to the beach..actually bringing my scales so i can weigh every morning so i wont be shocked and can better gauge my eating if i see i'm rapidly gaining.

the key to losing and maintaining weight loss is paying attention before things get out of hand. daily weigh-ins bring accountability and i think sets the stage for how you eat throughout the day.

even myth's binges lately aren't a terrible thing..he knows they're just isolated instances and also knows he can fix the weight in short order.
