if you want to know how much extra weight you were carrying around go to a gym and get (3) 25lbs plates...and walk around with it for 20 mins or so...you have to feel better....keep it up!!!!
Oh yeah I know. I went to the gym with my roommate about a week ago, and I did 100 lb squats just to see. All I could think was "god damn, I was torturing my own body. How the hell did I walk around with all this extra weight?"
Thanks

gyros
Certainly can have gyros on Atkins. It's just lamb. It's the hummus and other sauces you have to be wary of. 1 serving of hummus is somewhere in the vicinity of 6 carbs, and there's probably at least 2 servings of hummus in a typical plate.

Still hanging on to 2.5 pounds from the Saturday visit to Casa Garcia.
At least there was no tempting food today at the office.

I'm back to 166 but tomorrow is office lunch day so there could be trouble on the horizon.

Today is my department's christmas party.. LOTS of bad stuff is right behind me
I was sad, it looked like the only thing I could have was some spinach dip, but then someone brought a veggie tray

i think as fruit goes these arent that bad. this is defnately a yin yang time of year. Give up a pound, gain one at the party. Nothing going on this weekend so I'm going no cheat. After my horrible last weekend I'm really starting to feel lighter. This weekend will be NO cheat!

still shooting for 189 by end of year. not giving up and with the kids out of the house starting tomorrow, it will be a whole lot easier on me (much less stress-eating)
