I'm not sure when I am going to be able to get any exercise other than weekends.

One reason I like my Schwinn Air Dyne, great cardio workout, but i know its boring riding inside. Used to road ride but got skeered with all the nuts driving crazy. Am thinking about taking this up again on a limited basis. Decided since everyone else weighs in multiple times a week I would break my once a week weigh in and ystdy was down to 200. 2 lbs lighter than Thurs My goal of 195 by Jan 1 is in clear sight

Damn glad I made the change. I've never felt better. Only wish I would've started sooner,

The biggest thing to remember, it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change.

Yes it is, at first it was kinda tough until your body gets used to it but now its easy. I usually have a few bad meals and a few beers on the weekend but this last weekend I didnt and I really didn't miss it.Think I'm going to do this thru X-mas and make a strong push

225/205/195.

I've gotten to 10 lbs under my original goal. I'm thinking 190 lbs would be my new perfect weight. I'm 6'2" and enjoying being a thin person.

Danger! Danger! Danger!

There is food all over the place at my new office.

Piles and Piles of donuts, candy, popcorn.

Goodies everywhere!

Seems I need to learn to adjust to the new minefield.

You get used to it Myth. There are donuts in my break room at least 3 times a week, and a candy machine stocked full of sugar, carb-filled delights. After a while you don't even notice it's there.

I wish I could fast forward through time and be at my goal. I feel like I'm running out of endurance. Myth, I don't know how you keep at it after being at it for so long.

thats fuzzy math Hulk. Sorry no fast forward. You know how long it took you to get to 363 and it will take time to get to your goal. You are well on your way, keep up the good work!

this (especially bad at my office during 'treat week'...as i type this they're doing cookie decorating about 20 feet away from my office door..)

this. you start to remember how badly you feel after consuming a sugary donut or snickers bar and thats enough to keep me from thinking of these things as 'food'. amazing how easily i can avoid donuts now..

me too! only i go out with several of them after work routinely and they're always trying to get me to eat something (misery loves company?)...finally they all banded together and are like 'cad doesnt eat when he's drinking' i reinforce that when we're out so they've mostly stopped giving me shite about it.

oh

257/195/175 been very disciplined (but no bike riding) so i'm still shooting for 189 by end of year. with the ex taking the kids the week before christmas, that will help as well.
