well glad I wasn't the only one that had much higher than they thought they were going to have. I had gotten off track for a week or so before hand. Wish I wouldn't have. I wanna get another done at the end of august, just got to find a place.

I don't remember my grip measurements but I think it was close to 50 or so. I know she measured my waste an inch or so above my naval for my waste measurement and it was 31 and around my naval was 33. below are my scan results

oh and I love how I am in the 97% for people my age, 94? for all ages for BF% but I am well into the overweight catagory on the BMI. And this is why the BMI is worthless.

I want to do the dexa scan, but I don't want to make a special trip to nola for it, plus the only thing it'll tell me is "you're fat, fatass"

according to the person that first sent me the info on this, the body fat % will be a little on the high side because it also takes into account the fat around your organs. He said 3 to 5 % more than what most caliper tests would show.

I was disappointed in the results but it gave me an accurate reading of exactly how much lean body mass I actually was carrying. whats funny, when i got the results all I could think about is mouton always saying people have more weight to lose than they think to get a full six pack.

honestly though Hulk, if you are in NOLA do it. Its worth it to get a baseline. Then you can use calipers to get a reading the same day and then you know where you really are when you use calipers after that.

you get a $25 Wal Mart gift cert for your time. You could eat on that for a few nights

my girlfriend was offered $100 gift card to return for them to draw more blood. something about her age range coupled with her health qualified her for another study they were doing

I was 4.5% higher and yes DEXA is the most accurate without getting an autopsy(don't want that ) and will always show a higher percentage but its a real percentage, not a might be close kinda guessing kind of percentage.

and actually the picture chart below seems to be very accurate, at least compared with my dexa results

Yeah it's a great deal. I'm sure the scans aren't cheap if you manage to find a place that will do it, and you get money on top of it. I'm going to a Zephyrs game in a couple of weeks, thinking about cutting out early from work to get this done.

Bastard. You are going to look great if you hold on to that lean mass and get the bf% down to sub 10%.

Whats your current weight Bus? if you can get down to 200 or so you are going to be shredded as frick.
