Guess who blew the diet already? Little Debbie’s brought us cases of stuff today. Fudge Rounds kicked my arse.

I'm imagining them at your school the way cigarette girls used to roam around bars, handing out packs.

Pretty disgusting the amount of sugary bull shite that was served in schools.

Wish I was taught about nutrition when I was a wee lad.

I feel like we were taught about it, but everything was "carbs are good; fat is bad!" in the 80's/early 90's

Remember nailing rice, and potatoes, and snack Wells fat free cookies and wondering, “Why can’t I lose weight?”

Good times.

“Pasta is fat free! Yesss! Let me add some low fat mock Alfredo sauce.”

What was the bottom of the food pyramid? 6-11 servings of grains//bread/starches per day?

Speaking of. That’s what is on deck tonight. I’ll skip the fettuccine and toss the shrimp on a salad. Might lick the spoon I use for the sauce. So, I got that going for me.

Yum! Sounds delicious. You sticking to keto?

I’ve been eating like garbage lately, but still maintaining. Planning to diet when tennis is over for the season.

Are double IPAs keto-friendly? Kidding, but after 7 strong weeks I had 32 oz of good beer. No food-cheating. Little sluggish today. No blood meter, but hopefully I’ll be back feeling great again tomorrow. Any predictions on that? And do y’all think a blood-meter is a must? I’ve been eating less than 15 carbs. I don’t even know if I’m one of the lucky ones that can tolerate 30-40 a day and stay in ketosis.

Vacation is over, fatassery was had but now it's time to get to action..

12 weeks until my next vacation. This'll be my first time putting together a true "cut plan" instead of throwing some macros together and following them haphazardly/indefinitely. My maintenance TDEE is right around 2500 calories. I'd like to incorporate diet breaks in this period also because of how shitty my macros are going to be, plus I tend to stall after 4-5 weeks anyway. So, the setup looks like:

3 weeks cut
1 week maintenance
3 weeks cut
1 week maintenance
4 weeks cut
end

Current exercise: Crossfit 4x/week, sedentary otherwise

Cutting Macros (Averaged):
1902 Calories
185 Protein (g)
144 Carbs (g)
65 Fat (g)

Training Day:
Training Day - 4x week
2325 Calories
185 Protein (g)
250 Carbs (g)
65 Fat (g)

Rest Day - 3x week
1605 Calories
185 Protein (g)
70 Carbs (g)
65 Fat (g)

Maintenance Macros:
2502 Calories
150 Protein (g)
300 Carbs (g)
78 Fat (g)

If I don't lose the right amount of weight in 2 weeks, I'll add in cardio and/or drop macros as necessary.

I'm hoping this kind of structure helps me stay on track, rather than haphazardly dieting and considering any sort of weight loss a victory. I'd normally use Avatar for this but because it drops macros so quickly and my metabolism sucks, I find myself in insanely low macros really quickly because I tend to hold onto weight for a week or two at a time and lose several at once.

Let's get it, boys! And gals!

Was checking out my form on cleans, comparing them to back in December, when I noticed I can tell a difference in my body from December to today, just 12 pounds. December is on the right. Obviously the right side is a little closer to the camera but I can see a difference in my chest and stomach..

Plus my cleans are way better
