I'm five days into a keto lifestyle for the first time, and I gotta say, I just don't think I will ever be able to do the bulletproof coffee. Thinking about it makes me want to gag.
What is the major benefit of doing it that way?

The first two days I struggled with the timing, but the last three I've found it's been easier for me to get my macros met from 6:30am-12:30-1:00pm during the day and just fast the rest of the day. I haven't really felt the need to eat during the fasting time, but I guess I see how it helps. I just can't get past the idea of oily coffee though.

If you have an immersion blender, you don't even notice it.

It's actually really good.

I can't argue with that, I've never tasted it.
It's 100 percent a mental resistance.

Think of it kinda like cream in your coffee. Cream has a lot of fat, yet doesn't seem oily in coffee.

Probably has something to do with the fact that I don't drink coffee everyday, and onthe occasions that I do it's typically some sort of dessert coffee that's just that, a dessert. Idk.
I am one of those thrive people, and my lifestyle mix is like 8grams of carbs, which is half my day basically, but I just deal, because I refuse to give that up.

Ha
No. I didn't really notice.

But, we sort of touched on how it's not good for women to do IF.

Just a heads up.

Haha. I figured she was a woman because of the name :)

Yes, though, about women & IF :( it messed up my hormones badly. I had no idea it would do that. Sucks so much, because I loved fasting.

That probably means you emoji like a chick.

I don't think I'm super interested in IF in the long run, other than the fact that I have a significant amount to lose, so I'm open to whatever helps me do that safely.
It just seems to work right now because there is SO much reading and research and conflicting things on the subject of keto that I feel like some days getting my bearings is difficult, so I found something that fit and I'm just coasting with that while I learn better.
Meal prep for me is a whole other monster, I work 3 jobs and workout a few times a week, and have a 15 year old teenager, so free time is something that I have to make, and I've burned a few things by getting distracted trying to determine if the recipies I picked out fit the macros I have left for the day.
I'm trying to be patient with myself I know it's a lot to learn.
