I wish Halo Top made my stomach feel weird. After vowing not to buy anymore, I saw that Whole Foods had all the new flavors and bought one of (almost) each. The Peanut Butter Cup is really nice.
Not sure if any of you are interested in this, but I tried a recipe for something called 90 second bread, and it's really good. It's about 5 carbs per serving, and one serving can be made into two slices. There are a few variations to the recipe, but the one I decided to try looked more appealing because of the flax seed in it. Anyway, here's the recipe:
2 Tbsp almond flour
1 Tbsp flax seed
1/2 Tsp baking powder
1 egg
1.5 Tbsp of butter (melted, room temp) or ghee or coconut oil
Pinch of salt
Combine all of the ingredients and mix well. Microwave for 90 seconds. Let sit for a minute, dump it out of the dish, cut in half to make two slices.
Next, either toast the slices in a skillet or toaster (I like the skillet so I can toast the slices in butter).
Side notes: I added sprinkles of caraway, poppy, and sesame seeds to the mix just because I like seedy bread. :)
Some recipes said to use a mug as the dish for making this. Your bread slices will be thicker and smaller around if you do. I chose a slightly bigger dish with almost straight sides so I could have a larger round, but thinner slices. Your choice.
It's edible after the microwaving, but not appealing looking. It looks sort of eggy, so don't skip the toasting.
I used the bread to make a burger the first time I tried it.
It held together to the end, even with the moisture from slices of tomato on the burger.
Unadorned slices, second time making it.
Avocado toast. I was not disappointed.

I can't wait to try making that next week.
Darla, you should post a recipe once a week in here for me to try cooking at home. TIA.

Haha! Too good for it? Hail no. Just don't ask me about weight loss. I'm good at experimenting with low carb recipes, but I've been losing the same ten pounds over and over for a while now.
I'll be happy to post recipes and meal ideas. Thanks for the welcome.

Went out to Mariners.
Aka, not blue oak
Dinner was a party with booz and some dips/cheese/fruit/apps
Didn't eat much.

Glad you're safe! I'm procrastinating on sleep because I don't want to work tomorrow. I'm only punishing myself.
