Nice! I'm still not over the pizza lie, though. I totally believed you!

Because it is not ultimately how I want spend the rest of my life eating.. Just kinda go through ebbs and flows of keto/non keto/etc. Just depends on how I'm feeling. I was feeling like I wanted a change-up so I am changing my diet. In a few months I may get tired of keto and do something else.. As long as I lose weight, does it really matter?

Mmm. Looks delicious.
Ok, what are we gonna do tomorrow to not derail this thread? I'll fast, or something.

No, not much, but it seems fickle. I would rather change my diet into a lifestyle of healthy eating than yoyo fad diets that are fly-by-night.

What do you constitute as 'healthy eating'?
It's fickle, sure. I get tired of eating the same stuff over and over. No matter what style of diet I do, I wind up getting stuck in cycles of eating the same stuff and getting bored.

unreal is right. What a weekend. THat game was epic. Ireland defeats New Zealand for the first time in the 111 year history of the matchup.
Best apple fritter I've ever had from Firecakes , Portillo's chicago dog and chili, Al's Italian beef. Lunch special consisting of Filet, mashed potatoes, grilled tomato, banana pie from Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, Lou's Classic from Lou Malnati's.
And the copious amounts of Jameson consumed inconspicuously on the streets via coffee cups.
Here's my weekend non-paintrain summary pic:
Need to really tighten up. These "special occasions" are happening too often. Hit the gym this morning and gonna work some IF into this week.

If you're gonna go off the rails, may as well have the whole thing run clean off the track.

Hah, funny you mention me...today is my first day hopping back on board the keto train. Put it simply...I have issues changing my diet for life...I'm lazy and I don't enjoy cooking, and because of that it limits my options to what I can and am willing to eat. I also tend to get bored with keto. So...I get to where I need to be and I stay there as long as I can until I find myself going in the wrong direction and then I fix it. Sure, it's not ideal, but it's what works for me.
I didn't lose my weight on Keto...I did it eating Nutrisystem's food for a year. I struggle with portion control and I love to eat; two things are not a good combination. I especially love to eat shitty carb loaded foods. Unfortunately, my body doesn't seem to tell me when to stop eating or when it's had enough. It's never enough. I don't typically have that same problem when eating a keto style diet.
Do I advocate for a keto diet? Absolutely...because it can help people not kill themselves with food. Even though I fail at sticking it to it for more than 3-6 months at a time doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Bouncing around between 200 and 215 pounds and swapping to keto occasionally and eating shitty delicious foods occasionally seems to be the best thing for me to be successful.
I'm 33 years old and I got fat when I was 7. For the first time in my life I have a way to keep myself from being Obese...and if bouncing to and from a keto diet is what I have to do to keep from becoming Obese then I'll do it.
It took me a year to lose 115 pounds. I've maintained that weight loss (give or take 15 pounds) for nearly 3 years now. So...I'll keep on keeping on, and continue checking in here for the rest of my life if I have to in order to keep myself accountable.
